After Prom Meeting Set for January 16

Firebird Logo

After Prom is an event planned by parents that provides juniors, seniors and their dates with a fun party that is filled with food, games, inflatables, prizes and more. This is a way for our young people to continue celebrating, in a substance-free atmosphere, the entire prom experience.

At the info meeting on Monday, you will learn more about After Prom, find out what has been planned so far, and have the opportunity to hear about volunteer opportunities during weekend of the event.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A JUNIOR OR SENIOR STUDENT TO HELP OUT WITH AFTER PROM!

Most of the committee from last year was comprised of people who didn't have a student that was eligible to attend After Prom, but still wanted to get involved and join in the fun of After Prom planning and volunteering at the event!

After Prom Committee leadership is in place, but we welcome anyone that would like to join the committee and/or help out the weekend of the event. After Prom will be held at the high school on Saturday, April 22, from 11:30 pm to 3:30 am.

The After Prom meeting will be held in the Community Room at the Kettering/Moraine Library, located on Far Hills Avenue. You can enter through the back door to the room, as the main entrance will be locked due to the holiday.

Any questions? Please email Emily Webb at: afterprom@ketteringschools.org.

Thank you!
Emily Webb
Chairperson of the KFHS After Prom Committee
