Fairmont Theatre to Present 'The Worst High School Play in the World"

The Cast and Crew of 'The Worst High School Play in the World"

Join the cast as they tell the story of a high school trying to put on perhaps the most convoluted, ridiculous play that has ever disgraced the stage.

The students’ hilarious attempts to make sense of the play are just a part of the fun, the real fun lies in the story that begins in the year 1243 A.D. in Saxonia.

All is not well in the land of Saxonia. Darkness and discontent hang thick in the air like sausages in a smokehouse. The reasonably handsome King Isadore is off to the Crusades to smite heathens and purchase porcelain.

In his place, his creepy brother Prince Viscera brings sorrow and fear to every hearth and leaves them sitting on the front porch like two quarts of spoiled milk.

There is, however, also joy in Saxonia, for Isadore has not only left town but he has also left a son behind. The baby boy's name is Ivanha and this is his story of abandonment, return and redemption!

Return with us to those thrilling days of yesteryear when men were men, women were women... and squirrels were squirrels! Don’t miss the chance to laugh, to cry, to cheer and to gag with Fairmont Theatre!

Tickets for adults are $10, students and seniors are $5, seniors with the "Seniors are Special" cards are admitted free of charge.
