A Message from John F. Kennedy Principal
On behalf of the staff at John F. Kennedy Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the 2017-18 school year. We are a proud member of the Kettering CIty Schools family and take great pleasure in serving this community. Our teachers and staff strive daily to move our students forward, providing engaging and meaningful instruction and healthy developmental activities in a warm, caring and safe environment. This school year, your students will learn about the Kennedy Keys to Success. Students will learn what it means to be a respectful, responsible and safe “Kennedy Kid”. Our goal is to “Unlock” Students’ Potential.
It is our hope that this website will help maintain open and effective communication between school and home. We believe that the school, parents and the community are active partners in education. There will be many opportunities for you to become involved in your child’s education. We look forward to partnering with you.
I am blessed to work with caring and committed staff and parents with one focus-doing what is best for students. I hope you will stop by the office or contact us if you need any further information or assistance.
A Message from John F. Kennedy Assistant Principal
As we embark on the 2017-2018 school year at JFK, it is with great pride that I continue my position as the Assistant Principal. Reflecting back on my first year at JFK, I must say, I have never worked with a more caring and nurturing staff. Parents and volunteers in our community openly embrace the vision of our school and district. I am reminded each day of how lucky I am to be part of such a positive learning environment.
We have many new and exciting initiatives planned for this school year. With your help, we can continue the great John F. Kennedy traditions and explore new possibilities that offer our students and families ample opportunities for success in-and-out of the classroom.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly via email, telephone or face-to-face to discuss how we can enrich this already outstanding experience we strive to provide for our students.
Mr. Dan Palmer
