N2ARt Exhibit Runs Through March 17

N2Art Select Student Exhibit

The Kettering City School District's Art Department is proud to announce the opening of its select art show, N2Art, on Thursday, February 23, from 6-8 p.m. The 2016-2017 N2Art Exhibit will feature the work of Kettering's finest student artists in a wide variety of mediums, including oil paintings, ceramics, 3-D design, pen-and-ink drawings, digital design, sculptures and photography.

The N2Art Opening will feature the performance of “Living Murals,” a cross-curricular project with third-grade students from Indian Riffle Elementary School that combines art, music and physical education to bring the work of some of the world's great artists and musicians to life. “Living Murals” will be performed in the Recital Hall at 6:30 p.m.

The N2Art Exhibit will run through March 17, and the community is invited to stop by Fairmont’s Wayne Taylor Art Gallery any time after 3 p.m. to view the works of Kettering's talented students. If community members wish to view the artwork while school is in session, please call Fairmont High School’s main office at 499-1602 to set up an appointment.
