On April 11, the Kettering City Schools will be hosting the first district-wide STEAM Night.
STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. The end results are students who learn to work collaboratively, to problem-solve, to be creative and to explore career opportunities and connections.
STEAM Night will include 90 minutes of hands-on, educational activities that will appeal to childrena nd adults ofa ll ages and will be presented by Kettering teachers, students, and community members. All Kettering families and community members are invited. The STEAM Night Planning Committee hopes to see you there!
