FHS Auditorium Commemorative Brick Sale

Commemorative Brick Sale -- September 3, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The FHS Auditorium Commemorative Brick Sale will be held on
Sunday, September 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
on the East Lawn at Fairmont High School.

The Fairmont High School Auditorium is being demolished to make way for a NEW and beautiful, state-of-the-art FHS Auditorium, and numerous students, alumni, retirees, parents and community members have asked about securing a brick from the "old" auditorium.

The bricks will be available at $5 each. Personalized plaques that will adhere to the bricks (up to three lines of text) can also be purchased at $5 each.

PROCEEDS FROM THE BRICK SALE WILL BENEFIT FAIRMONT'S 2017 SPIRIT CHAIN and its four chosen charities:

  • Kettering Backpack Program provides food to Kettering elementary and middle school students to eat over the weekend. The organization is currently serving over 500 Kettering students.

  • Building Bridges strives to act as a “safety net” for at-risk youth that are involved in the Montgomery County Juvenile Court by intervening and redirecting their lives through innovative programming that offers discipline, structure, and opportunity in a compassionate and supportive environment.

  • A Special Wish is an Ohio organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children diagnosed as having a life-threatening disorder.

  • Fall Feast is a massive Thanksgiving Day event in Cincinnati, OH with the goal of changing the community for the better through celebration, connection, and service. The event lost one of its largest donors and Spirit Chain will help with the event. Fairmont students have been working with the Anthony Munoz Foundation (a big supporter) over the last few years. We hope to see a similar event in the Dayton area soon!
