The Kettering Board of Education officially approved the district's "Strategic Plan 208-2023: A Blueprint for Student Success" at its July 17, 2018 meeting.
We are pleased to provide families the opportunity to update their contact and registration information for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. This process replaces many of the paper forms sent home at the beginning of the school year.
Registration for students NEW to our district for the 2018-19 school year is now open.
As we wind down the 2017-18 school year, we want to provide families with important end-of-year information related to graduation and the last day of school. Registration is open for the 2018 Firebird Sports Camps. Camp opportunities are available for a variety of sports for children as young as incoming kindergartners and through the 12th grade.
The Kettering Fairmont Theatre Department presents the 2018 Children's Play, Gran's Guide to Stop an Ogre (Also Works for Witches and Bullies) by Stephanie Demaree on Saturday, April 28, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Fairmont High School Recital Hall.

The Kettering City Schools are celebrating Career Tech Education by focusing monthly on the high-tech, in-demand career opportunities open to the students in the Fairmont Career Tech Center.
Indian Riffle, Oakview and Greenmont elementary schools join the Kettering Early Childhood Education Center (KECEC) in achieving a 5-Star Rating from the Ohio Department of Education. All of Kettering's preschool programs are now 5-Star Rated.
