Field Hockey Team Wins Prestigious State Award

Fairmont's Field Hockey Team Presented with Ethics and Integrity Award

Throughout the 2016-17 school year, the coaches associations of all 22 of the Ohio High School Athletic Association sanctioned sports have the opportunity to select one of their own for the OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award. Recipients are recognized during the state tournament of their respective sport or at their annual clinic.

Field Hockey Coach Macie Miller said, "My team and I are very honored to win this award."

In only her first year as varsity head coach for the Firebirds, Coach Miller has made tremendous efforts to infuse her program with the highest levels of sportsmanship and pride as possible. This recognition is a wonderful way to celebrate all their efforts this year!

Way to go Firebirds!
