FHS Senior Elected to State Office for DECA

On Tuesday, November 3, Kettering Fairmont High School’s DECA traveled to Columbus to attend the annual Ohio DECA Fall Delegates Conference, where Sophie Farley, a senior marketing student and president of Fairmont DECA’s local chapter, campaigned and was elected to fill the office of Ohio DECA Southwest Region Vice President.

Eleventh Hour Releases New CD

Members of Fairmont’s top a capella group, Eleventh Hour, celebrated the release of their newest CD, “Like Clockwork,” at a release party that was held at Books & Co. at Town & Country Shopping Center on November 1^st. "Like Clockwork” includes such hits as “Suddenly I See You,” “Love Story,” “Ring of Fire,” and a Bee Gees medley.

H1N1 Information
The Kettering City School District is working in conjunction with the Dayton and Montgomery County Public Health Department to help combat the threat of the H1N1 Flu virus (formerly known as the "swine flu.") Together, the district and the health department have developed a plan to offer the H1N1 Flu Vaccine to all students in the Kettering Schools. [more...]
