1.      Attend all meetings
2.      Attend leadership training sessions (to be determined)
3.      Represent CTC in the following events:

b.      Sophomore Orientation
c.      Completer Ceremony
d.      Freshman Orientation (Fall 2011)
e.      Parent Open Houses (Fall 2011)
f.        Light the Night (Fall 2010)
g.      CTC Hall of Fame and 35th Anniversary Celebration (Fall 2010)
4. Plan a social event for the Career Tech Center

As a student in this program you are serving as an ambassador of the Career Tech Center to parents and students in the Kettering community. It is important to recognize that as a representative of the Career Center you will be expected to demonstrate high standards in both behavior and responsibility. Because of this, your commitment to this program is essential to your success. You will assist with and plan various events for our Career Tech Center.

Before being accepted to this program, you will need to fill out the Career Tech Center Leadership Application and obtain recommendations from two teachers that can attest to your character, attitude, and attendance. Please give your completed application to the Jill in the Career Tech office. The deadline for application and recommendations is September 18, 2010.

Career Tech Center Leadership Program is a unique opportunity. You would have the honor of representing approximately 400 CTC students. You will receive a certificate of completion and recognition at your senior CTC Completer Ceremony. This is also an excellent experience to include on a resume and college applications. Good luck in the application process.

Sincerely,
