Mrs. Rindler has been teaching kindergarten in Kettering City Schools since 2007. She earned her B.S. in Business from Miami University and earned her M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from Antioch University. She works as an adjunct professor at Antioch Midwest and volunteers for a local non-profit, Learn to Earn Dayton, promoting high quality preschool and growing kindergarten readiness in the Dayton area. Mrs. Rindler enjoys hiking and backpacking, yoga, tai chi, and playing with her pug Frankie Rose. Her two children also keep her busy on the tennis courts, at the swimming pools, and on the soccer fields.

Mrs. Rindler's class is driven by the project approach. Children have opportunities to research their interests and share their findings with the community in creative ways. Children are encouraged to build relationships with many diverse people, places, and things. Mrs. Rindler is passionate about connecting children with nature and learning in the outdoor environment.

Feel free to visit her class blog at sd402.blogspot.com to see past projects in pictures.
