Hello!  My name is Mrs. Ray.  Welcome to my classroom at Indian Riffle Elementary School.  I have been teaching third grade for 31 years in the Kettering City School District.  I received my bachelor's degree from Wright State University and my master's degree from the University of Dayton.  I think third graders are the best!

When I am not at school, I like to spend time with my family.  I have a husband and two children who are 24 and 20.  My son is a student at Ohio State University but is currently working in Orlando, Florida, and my daughter is a junior at Xavier University in Cincinnati.    I also have one cat and one golden retriever dog.  I love to read, especially mysteries, and like to scrapbook and cross stitch when time permits (which isn't often it seems).  My favorite places to be when I am not in Ohio are on the beach in Hilton Head, South Carolina, or at Disney World in Orlando.

If you have questions about the many exciting things we do in third grade, you can contact me at julie.ray@ketteringschools.org.
