WELCOME to JFK!
I am an educator at John F. Kennedy, third grade. My teaching history is Kindergarten, Fourth and Third Grade at Kennedy. I am always learning and growing myself.
I received my Language Arts Specialist from University of Dayton, B.S. in Education, and Masters in Teacher Leadership from WSU and my PhD coursework from Concordia University.
My wonderful husband, Brian, and I have three fantastic children, Elizabeth, Ben, and Bryce. As a family we love to head south to Norris Lake and boat, ski, fish and enjoy the lake. Golfing, gardening, and cooking are some of my favorite things to do.
I am a HUGE football fan, University of Tennessee. Go Vols! NFl Sundays are friends, family and football gatherings at our house. friends and family split the time between the Browns and Bengals. I am a long-time Brownie fan...I take losing well!
If you ever step into my classroom you will find it exciting, busy, and fun. Each day holds a new adventure that we discover and learn together! My door is always open for you to join our inviting learning environment.
I measure my success with the positive and respectful relationships I build. I set a daily goal to have a positive impact on someone or something.
Everyone deserves self worth.
