Hi!  My name is Kim Ulrich, and I am a third grade teacher at Orchard Park.  I started teaching 19 years ago at Saville Elementary in Mad River as a 1-2 looping teacher.  15 years ago, I came to Orchard Park, and taught first grade.  This year, I am teaching 3rd grade, so this will be a big change for me!

I am married and have eight-year-old twins, Ellie and Braeden, who keep me VERY busy.  They are 2nd graders at Five Points Elementary in Springboro.  When I'm not working, I am on the go with the kids at various parks, the Boonshoft Museum, or the zoo.  I also have a labradoodle named Murphy.  He sometimes makes appearances at Orchard Park!  He loves kids and is great with them.

I graduated from Miami University in 1997 with a B.S. in Elementary Education, with a Mathematics concentration.  In 2001, I earned my Masters Degree in Literacy Education from the University of Dayton.  I earned National Board Certification in 2003.

Please take a look at the "My Class" section on the left side of your screen.  That page will have a lot more detailed info for you and photos for you.  The Pages on the left side of the screen also have some resources you might find helpful.  It's my goal to try and keep this site updated at least once a month...hopefully more!  So please check back often to see what new and exciting things are happening in our classroom!

I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
