My name is Debi Everett and I am a 5th grade teacher at Indian Riffle.  I have been teaching in Kettering City Schools since 1994, working in the regular education classroom as well as in the gifted department.  I enjoy the challenge of teaching and finding ways to engage students.  I think it is very important to make sure my students are thinking critically and finding strategies to help them problem solve!

I received my B.S. in Education from the Ohio State University, my Masters in Teacher and Learning from Nova Southeastern University and my Gifted Certification from Bowling Green. I am a member of the Kettering Education Association and the Ohio Association for Gifted Children.

I have 2 children, Duncan and Josie and they tend to keep me very busy!  When I have the time or opportunity I like to play volleyball or softball but more often than not, I spend my spare time reading.

Feel free to contact me through the email link.
