It has been an honor to be part of Southdale Elementary community for thirty years! I completed my Junior college year observations and my senior year student teaching at Southdale. This is my twenty-eighth year of teaching. Many things have changed over the years, but one thing has remained constant, Southdale is a school of Excellence and there is no better place for children to learn and grow.
Science is my passion. I love to teach children to problem solve and discover. I spend hours preparing in advance to ensure your child receives the best education possible.
I believe in being a life long learner. Every year I try to attend workshops and seminars to keep up to date on current research and teaching techniques.
I am currently the STEAM Leader for Southdale. I collaborate with teachers, teach STEAM classes for second through fifth grade classes, lead the Elementary Family STEAM Nights, I am on the Districts STEAM Night committee and much more! STEAM is my thing!!
I am actively involved in the Kettering community. I am a youth leader for a high school youth group named SIGNS. It is very rewarding to volunteer my time to help others and the community.
