B.A.  Spanish  University of Dayton 1983

I worked as a translator for the Department of Defense in Washington D.C and the State Department in Mexico City  for seven years.

I taught kindergarten and preschool Spanish immersion classes in Oakwood for 2 years.

Currently, I am a tutor/translator for ESOL students.  I see students in small group pull-out sessions to work on improving reading fluency.  I also do classroom inclusion for math.  I service students in grades 1- 4.

I interpret for students' families both over the phone and in person regarding any matters that need attention.  I also act as an interpreter for parent-teacher conferences.   On occasion, I also translate school documents.
