Welcome to Prass Elementary!

I am the school counselor, Mrs. Tackett.  The 2015-2016 school year marks my first year at Prass and I am very excited to be here.  I lived in Cincinnati 15 years before moving to Kettering with my husband and our 2 dogs and cat.  While in Cincinnati I received my Master's of Arts in Counseling at Cincinnati Christian University and started working doing family therapy. After extra courses at Xavier University I received my school counseling license and worked at Winton Wood schools for 7 years.  I also spent time as a licensed foster parent and became certified to do home studies for those who want to foster and/or adopt.

When I'm away from school I enjoy walking my dogs, going to Reds/Dragon games and enjoying concerts and the theatre.  Because I used to live in Orlando, FL we go every year to visit friends and of course, Mickey Mouse.

Please call me or stop by if you have any concerns or questions about your child or a child in your community.
