Important Student Registration Information

Have you recently moved within the Kettering City School District Attendance Area?

If you have recently moved and are still living within the Kettering City School District attendance area, you are required to update your new address with the district's Central Enrollment Department.

Stop by Central Enrollment, located in the Board of Education Building, 3750 Far Hills Avenue between 7:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. and present proof of residency:
*  Deed or purchase agreement with closing date
*  Lease or rental agreement -- effective date noted and signed by landlord and tenant
*  Tax or mortgage statement

Once proof of residency is presented, your new address will be reflected in the district's student information system. Address information from the student's record in the student information system is used for all correspondence with parents/guardians, so it is very important that the district has your correct address.

Is your child currently enrolled in the Kettering City Schools?

If your child is currently enrolled in the Kettering City School District and will be a student in the Kettering Schools for the 2016-17 school year, you DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER your child again.

District's Central Registration Process Now in Place

The Kettering City School District now has a Central Registration office, where all parents and guardians will come to register their children for school. The Central Registration Office is located in the Kettering Board of Education Building, located at 3750 Far Hills Avenue.

Parents/guardians are asked to make an appointment to register their child(ren) for school. “This will help to streamline the registration process and cut down on the wait time for our busy parents,” says Dan VonHandorf, director of Student Services for the district, adding, “Having our registration take place at a central location, instead of at each building, will also be a big time-saver for parents who have more than one child that they are registering.”
