Hello! My name is Patricia Boone. I have taught for Kettering City Schools for 30 years. It has been my honor to work with our great Kettering kids! 

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University and attended The University of Dayton for graduate school. My specialty is ceramics and I have taught adult ed in Michigan and Ohio, at The Rosewood Arts Centre, The Dayton Art Institute and at The University of Dayton. At Fairmont, I teach Crafts and Ceramics, Sculpture and Ceramics and AP3D Design. 

My husband and I have 2 grown daughters, both engineers. We are animal lovers and always have at least 2 retired greyhounds in our home.

Hello!
My name is Patricia Boone and I have taught for Kettering since 1990. For the first 20 years, I split my week between Orchard Park Elementary and J.E. Prass Elementary teaching art at the grade school level. I am currently teaching at Fairmont High School and teach Crafts and Ceramics, and Ceramics and Sculpture.

I have an avid interest in gardening, animal rescue and of course, my family! My husband and I have 2 daughters who have both graduated from OSU in Engineering.

 I am from Michigan and have lived here in Ohio since 1986. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art at Eastern Michigan University with an emphasis in ceramics. I completed my teaching certification at The University of Dayton in 1989. I hope you enjoy the artwork our fine students at Fairmont!
