A meeting to give members of the Kettering community the opportunity to provide input on the use of the federal grant funds the Kettering
Schools receive to provide special education services to students with identified disabilities will be held on October 4, 2023, at 12 p.m., in the Blue Conference Room, 3rd floor of 500 Lincoln Park Blvd.

Superintendent Mindy McCarty-Stewart publishes the Friday Firebird Focus weekly during the school year to provide Firebird Families, Staff and Community Members with news and information about the Kettering City Schools in a quick and simple format 

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools during the school day meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

The KCS Forward Foundation supports and enhances the educational experiences of Kettering students, staff and families through grants, training, externships and special projects.

The Kettering Schools will hold Preschool Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year on March 21 and March 23, at the Kettering Early Childhood Education Center.
