The Kettering Board of Education extends its sincere thanks to Board Member James Ambrose for his 11 years of service to the students, staff and community of the Kettering City Schools.
Board President Toby Henderson shared, “Through his lengthy tenure on the Board, Jim was steadfast in his commitment to always putting our students at the forefront of every decision. His passion for doing his part to ensure Kettering City Schools remains excellent was never in doubt. Jim’s contributions to our District will be missed, and we wish him well in his retirement from Board of Education service.”
The Kettering Board of Education is accepting applications to fill the open seat on the board. The individual selected for appointment by the Board of Education must run in the November 2023 General Election to fulfill Mr. Ambrose’s unexpired term.
Resumes and letters of interest must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5 p.m., on Friday, June 9, 2023, for consideration.
The Board of Education anticipates that candidate interviews will take place during the week of June 12, 2023, with the anticipated appointment of a new Board Member taking place at the June 20, 2023, Kettering Board of Education regular meeting.
