Central Enrollment
Welcome Firebirds!
The first step to enroll is to complete an online application for your student (scroll down to see procedures for each grade).
After completing and submitting the online application, please USE THIS LINK to schedule an appointment with our Central Enrollment Team to complete the enrollment process.
Required documentation:
- Birth certificate
- Parent/guardian ID
- Immunization records
- Complete, time-stamped custody documents, if applicable
- Proof of Kettering residency:
- Homeowners: Mortgage Statement or Deed
- Renters: All pages of lease agreement, signed by tenant and landlord.
- Both homeowners and renters need to provide a current utility bill.

25-26 Registration for Grades K-12
Children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 are eligible to register for Kindergarten.
Complete the required Online Registration and the Kindergarten Parent Input Form.
25-26 Preschool Registration
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is underway. To begin the registration process please complete the Preschool Registration Packet. The following Registration Documents are needed to proceed with registration.
The Kettering City School District offers two Preschool Programs that run Monday- Friday:
Integrated Preschool: Designed to serve 3-5 year old students that meet criteria to act as peer mentor students alongside students with special needs for 2.5 hours a day Monday- Friday.
Pathfinders Preschool: Early learning program that provides 3-5 year-olds with a high-quality preschool education for 6 hours a day. Student in our Pathfinders Program push into our integrated classrooms for 2.5 hours a day as peer mentors for students who are on an IEP.
