Fairmont High School does not have standard school supply lists. Students are encouraged to take a notebook and pen with them for the first few days of school, and their teachers will provide them with lists of the supplies they will need for their different classes.

Transportation

Bus Stop Information

The KCS Transportation Department is now using the Stopfinder app for families to access student transportation schedules, bus stop information and notifications related to transportation services. The Stopfinder app is available for download in the App Store, as well as in Google Play.

Accessing Student Bus Schedules

Access to student schedules is granted only to the student’s primary contact by the Transportation Department. The primary contact, at their own discretion, may share their student’s schedule with caregivers (sub-subscribers). An invitation to activate your Stopfinder account is sent to the primary contact via email.

High School Transportation Opt-In Form

Many of our Fairmont Junior and Senior Students choose not to ride a school bus to and from school each day. However, the Transportation Department reserves a seat on the bus for these students who are eligible for bus transportation "just in case" they choose to ride.

In an effort to be more efficient with our high school transportation services, we give the parents/guardians of Fairmont Juniors and Seniors the choice to complete a Transportation Opt-In Form each school year if your Junior/Senior will be riding the bus to and from school each day.

To opt your child(ren) in to ride the bus to Fairmont High School, please read and complete this Transportation Opt-In Form for the 2026-2027 School Year.
