From Mrs. Scott:
Good morning KMS! Do you enjoy plays, musicals, and performing arts? Do you want to learn more about acting, dancing, or photography? If the stage is what you crave, then Muse Machine is for you! Information went home in first day envelopes about how to join, but in case you missed it, all the information is on both the KMS student links page and the KMS website. Just look for the purple Muse logo to learn more. I hope to see you as part of Muse!

From Mrs Gustafson:
Attention to anyone who loves art!  Art Club is the place for you! 6th grade art club meets Tuesday’s after school until 5pm. 7th and 8th grade art club is Wednesday’s until 5. Applications are available in your unit office or from Mrs G in Central.  Due date is August 29th!  Spots fill up fast so get yours in!  See Miss G with question!

From Ms. Moses:
Attention 6th graders!!!  Anyone interested in participating in after school kickball or walking/running club should pick up a form in the 6th grade lobby to take home.  The form must be completed as well as all of the online forms and returned to Ms. Moses by the dates listed.


From KMS PTO:
KMS PTO Membership Drive 
Remember the first advisory to have the advisory teacher and at least one parent per student to join the PTO wins the doughnuts.
Current standings: 
Tied for 1st place - Shadoan & Montavon, 3rd place - Loree
All paid members also will be entered in the August 30 prize drawing for Cheesecake Factory gift card, Chuy's dinner for 2, Woodhouse Day Spa gift card, Dick's Sporting Goods certificate, Funny Bone tickets, and Firebird items.

Spirit Wear orders are due Friday, August 30.

Sixth grade Kona Ice social will be Wednesday, September 4 from 3:45-5:00 PM.
