Our end of the year locker clean-out process and textbook return will begin on May 14th. Student health and safety is always our number one priority at KMS. With that in mind, we will be closely following state guidance. Please read the schedule and guidelines closely so this can be a safe experience for our students and staff.
Students will be assigned days by last name to come and clean out their locker. There will be areas in each unit lobby to collect textbooks, library books, teacher books and/or materials, and to donate any unused school supplies if the family chooses to do so. Trash receptacles will also be in each hallway for student use. It is recommended that students bring an extra bag (along with their book bag) to gather their contents.
YEARBOOKS: Students who purchased yearbooks will be able to pick them up at this time in their unit office. Additional yearbooks will be available for purchase from 3:30-5:30 on May 14,15 and 18 for 40$ cash only.
For students who will not be returning to Kettering City Schools next year, there will be a table in the lobby to leave their Chromebook, charger, and Chromebook bag. Returning your supplies that day will eliminate a trip back to the building to return technology if the student will not be with Kettering City Schools next year. All students returning to KMS or moving up to Fairmont High School will keep their Chromebook over the summer.
