Our New Unified Middle School Name for the 26-27 School Year
We want to extend a huge thank you to our community. We had over 3,000 students, staff, family and community members participate in the voting process to help choose the name for our combined school. This engagement is what makes Kettering such a special place to learn and grow.
- Charles F. Kettering Middle School received 16.8% of the vote.
- Virginia Kettering Middle School came in second place with 17.1% of the vote.
- The winning name, receiving over 66% of the total votes, is Kettering Fairmont Middle School!
This name reflects our deep connection to the Kettering community and our shared future as our students will all become Kettering Fairmont Firebirds starting in 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
